Enjoy spook-tacular daytime activities!
This October half term, enjoy a week filled with SPOOK-TACULAR daytime activities suitable for children of all ages, from creating crafts at the Witches’ Coven to practicing your scaring skills as a monster at St Anway’s Scare School!
Passholders: This event is FREE for Zoo Passholders. Simply turn up on the day and bring with you your valid zoo pass to gain entry into the zoo.
Paying Visitors: We recommend all non-passholders to book their tickets online in advance to receive the best price on admission.

Halloween Trail
9:30am to Zoo Close
Journey around the Zoo and complete the trail for your chance to win a prize
Spooky Squeak’s Trail
9:30am to Zoo Close at Woodland Hollow
Visit the Woodland Hollow and complete the rat challenge
Pirate Cove
11am to 4pm near Meerkat Hangout
Take a pit stop and enjoy some fiendish fun and gruesome games
Discovery Den
10:30am to 1hr before Zoo Close inside Elephant Kingdom
Learn about different animal habitats with our interactive sand table and Draw Alive wall
Witches’ Coven
11am to 4pm at the Education Centre
Visit the good witches and wizards and create magical crafts, from potions to spells
Face Painting Station
11am to 1hr before Zoo Close at Face Painting Station
Transform into your favourite spooky character
St Anway’s Scare School
11am to 4pm at Rajang’s Forest (outside)
Take part in scaring lessons to graduate from St Anways
Spook-tacular Barn Adventure
11am, 2pm & 3pm at the Kalahari Theatre
