5-weeks of in-setting outreach delivered by zoo experts

This outreach program offers your SEND school or class a five-week package of educational visits from our zoo experts. Each week, a conservation educator will visit your setting to lead sessions on topics of your choice. Learners will have the opportunity to handle biological artifacts like furs, skins, skulls, and feathers while learning about the natural world.

Before the first visit, the educator will consult with you to select topics from over 80 education sessions, covering subjects like Maths, Art, Biology, STEM, or careers. Sessions typically last 45-60 minutes but can be adjusted to suit your learners’ needs.

Please note that we do not bring live animals on outreach sessions.
