This habitat includes large viewing windows where you can watch the spider monkeys lounging on their high beams.

This habitat is home to one troop. Out in the wild, they can live in groups of up to 30 individuals depending on the availability of food in the area.

Spider monkeys get their name from their spider-like appearance, due to their long limbs and tail. The long tail is used like a third hand, helping them to move rapidly through the trees.

Spider monkey are omnivores with their diet mainly consisting of fruit as well as leaves, nuts, seeds, barks, insects and flowers.
